Lynne Cole, co-owner and broker at Kirby Real Estate, arrived in McMinnville in 1969, 50 years ago. Her husband, an entomologist, had accepted a job with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and was told he had two weeks to get himself to McMinnville.
