Preston Denney received a unanimous vote of confidence Monday as the next Warren County EMS director. It will be one more week and one more vote before it’s official. County Safety Committee members Teddy Boyd, chair, Carl D. Bouldin, Randy England, Ron Lee and Charles Morgan approved the appointed of Denney as director.“I guess we need to ask Preston if he’s interested in moving on with your position,” said Boyd.Denney stated, “Yes, if you are interested in me.”Denney has been with EMS since 1999 and was appointed as interim director in January.
