Warren County will go 15 years without a property tax increase.During Monday night’s meeting of the full Warren County Commission, members rejected an effort by Commissioner Michael Martin to increase the property tax rate by 28 cents. “A tax rate of $1.9661 is too low to support the needs of Warren County,” said Martin. “I recommend the commission consider raising this rate to $2.25 with 0.05 of the increase going only to the school system and the remainder of the increase going only to debt service.
