Arlington Church of Christ is holding a gospel meeting from March 15-17 with Bro. Don Blackwell speaking. Sunday early worship is 9 a.m., Bible study 10 a.m., and second worship service at 11 a.m. Monday and Tuesday evening services begin at 7 p.m. Covered dish meal at noon on Sunday. Everyone welcome. 

Bethany Church of Christ is holding a gospel meeting from March 15-18. Guest speaker will be Wayne Miller. Schedule of services: Sunday Bible study at 9 a.m., Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m., Sunday evening worship is at 5 p.m. and Monday thru Wednesday evening worship is at 7 p.m. Covered dish meal following Sunday morning worship. Tuesday, March 17

Westwood Church of Christ will have its free clothing giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m. 

Central High School class of 1952 will be having its monthly get-together at 12:30 p.m. at Nana’s Kountry Kupboard at Sunnyside Heights. All classmates are urged to attend. 

Saturday, March 21 

Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will be offering “Funeral Services in Warren County” with a presentation by Steve West from 2 to 4 p.m. WCGHA is located on the lower level at the rear of Warren County Administrative Officers on Locust Street. Visitors welcome. 

Upper Cumberland Community presents free dental, vision and medical during a Remote Area Medical on March 21-22 at Cookeville High School. The school is located at 2335 N. Washington Ave. For more information, visit RAMUSA.ORG or call 865-579-1530.

Saturday, March 28

A country ham breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, from 7 to 10 a.m. at Shady Grove Community Center, 5261 Shady Grove Road, Morrison. Along with country ham there will be bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, assorted jellies, and drinks. Plates will be $6 each (children ages 6 and under $3) and carry-out plates will be available.

Bethel Hill Baptist Church is holding a friends and family day March 22. Festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with singing from Midnight Cry from Sparta and lunch to follow at noon. The church is located at 1137 W. Green Hill Road. For more information, contact William Randolph at 931-808-2287.

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for Van Buren County on Thursday, March 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Van Buren County Civic Center (Burritt College). Sign-ups will be available at the distribution site.

The 2020 U.S. Census is here. April 1 is the official Census kick off date, but the electronic portal is currently live and operational. Over the next few weeks, mailers will be sent explaining the options for submitting household counts.
