Friends and Family Day with The Agee Family Singers will be at 2 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church with a fellowship meal following the 11 a.m. morning worship service. Everyone is welcome.

Harvest Fall Festival will take place at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 Chapel Dr. There will be treat bags, free hotdogs, drinks and more beginning at 5 p.m.

First Baptist Church, 403 N. Spring Street, will be having a Fall Fest from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be free trunk-n-treat, music, bouncy houses, chili, hot dogs and more. Rain out date is Nov. 3 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Westwood Church of Christ is having its Fall Fest from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the gym. There will be free food, candy, games, prizes and face painting. Costumes are encouraged.

Oasis Church will be downtown handing out Halloween candy and prizes from 3 to 7 p.m.

Midway CIC’s Halloween Party will be held at 6 p.m. at Midway CIC. Guests are asked to bring something that goes with chili or a dessert. Come in your favorite costume and enjoy the night.

Ladies at Westwood Church of Christ will hold a Harvest Brunch from 9 to 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Rhonda Lowry from Lipscomb University. All are welcome.

Everyone who attended Morrison School is invited to the annual reunion at Medley’s Restaurant at noon. Come early and visit.

Ezel Lodge Chili Supper will take place at Morrison Ruritan Building at 5 p.m. There will be chili, hot dogs, homemade ice cream and dessert. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under.


For a variety of different needs to help animals, HAWC is holding a volunteer sign-up on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at Warren County Administrative Offices on Locust Street in the Dogwood Room.

To help with medical expenses and basic needs, there will be a benefit for James Howard and his boys at Fairview Community Center on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. There will be a meal and an auction. Any support of this benefit is greatly appreciated.

Operation Christmas Child’s national collection week takes place Nov. 12-19. To make a donation, you can drop items off at First Baptist Church, 403 North Spring Street. For more information, visit
