The Cantrell and Glenn Reunion will take place at 1 p.m. at Midway Community Center. Bring a covered dish and a donation for upkeep of Potter Cemetery.

Everyone is invited to the Passons reunion at Centertown Community Center. Bring a covered dish. Dinner will be served at 12:30 p.m.


The Warren County Retired Teachers Association will have a meeting at 10 a.m. at the Magnolia Room at Warren County Administrative Offices. The program will be its annual necrology service to honor retired teachers who have passed away through the year. Refreshments will be served and dues need to be paid this month. All retired teachers are invited.

Bethel Hill Baptist Church is having VBS on June 14-15 from 5:45 to 8 p.m. and June 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call William Randolph at 931-808-2287.

Cedar Grove is having its monthly supper at 5 p.m. The menu is BBQ chicken, salmon patties, vegetables, slaw, dessert, drink and rolls. The cost is $6.

Shiloh Cemetery Picnic is having Homecoming and Decoration Day with festivities beginning at 11 a.m. and auction starting at 6 p.m. Please bring an auction item. All proceeds go to the upkeep of the cemetery. Contributions can be mailed to Boyce Wanamaker, 3641 Trousdale Lane, Columbia TN 38401.


Campaign Community Center’s June supper is canceled.

Lucky CIC Meet the Candidates event and auction is Saturday, June 23 at 5 p.m. Prater’s BBQ and Dr Pepper products will be available for purchase. The proceeds are going toward upgrades of Community Center playgrounds. For more information, contact Russell Pedigo at 931-273-1394.

If you’d like to register for the 37th annual Stars and Stripes Fun Run and Walk, registration forms can be picked up at the Civic Center. The run is July 4 at 7:30 a.m. and preregistered participants will receive one race T-shirt after finishing the event. Registration fee is $15.

Main Street Live’s summer concert series has returned on the West Lawn of Security Federal. Concerts start at 7 p.m. and are offered on Friday nights through July 27. If you’d like to donate a nonperishable item, collection boxes will be available.
