It was incorrectly reported in Sunday’s paper that the county voted to pay $10,000 to join the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development contingent on county commission and city approval. The vote was actually to pay to join the McMinnville Tourism Development Board contingent on approval. The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is not a membership organization nor does it charge any fees to work with our agency.
