Moving violations cost the offenders jail time and money recently during circuit sentencings issued by Judge Bart Stanley.Included in circuit traffic violators:Brian Lee Brashears was instructed to serve 210 days of a three-year sentence for violating habitual traffic offender status, driving on a revoked license, and simple exchange of drugs.Jason Otis Ward was instructed to serve 180 days of a three-year sentence, pay $100 plus costs and perform 40 hours public service work for driving on a revoked license and being in violation of habitual traffic offender status.Benjamin Kenner Martin was directed to serve 90 days of a two-year sentence, perform 40 hours public service work, pay $450 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for DUI, driving on a revoked license and being in violation of habitual traffic offender status.Timothy D. Thomas must pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.Steven Hankins was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence for driving on a revoked license.Thomas Jerald Higgins must pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.Shane Smith was fined $100 plus costs for driving on a suspended license and speeding.
