Charges are pending against a woman who caused a head-on collision when she drove the wrong way on Nashville Highway this past week.Accident investigators say the woman, Samantha Davenport, 37, was traveling west in her Ford Fiesta in the eastbound lanes of Nashville Highway near Centertown when she met an oncoming Ford driven by Amanda Gipson, 32, around 9 p.m. Tuesday evening. The vehicles crashed nearly head-on leaving Gipson and all three of her children, ages 9, 10, and 11 injured. One of the children was later airlifted for further treatment.Troopers say they have ordered a blood sample from Davenport, noting charges are pending the results of the blood analysis.
