New Dollar General coming to Newtown

I’ll start this week’s column that’s written in honor of our nation’s independence with some colorful news. Warren County is in the process of getting another Dollar General.According to elaborate plans presented to McMinnville’s Planning and Zoning Department, the new Dollar General will be located in Newtown on the corner of Nashville Highway and Bridge Builders Road. It will be in front of the 911 center.A very detailed architectural drawing was presented to city officials for their consideration on Tuesday.
