Elbert Bell was in attendance when the Driver Testing Center held its Blue and Green Day. The event is held to raise awareness of organ donation and few people realize that need as much as Bell.He received a donor kidney approximately four years ago after spending seven years on dialysis. His wife, Connie, tried to donate a kidney, but didn’t have proper kidney functions to be eligible.
