Cumberland County and Warren County students Molly Neal and EmiLee Lassiter, respectively, were recently named Foundation for Rural Service’s Youth Tour attendees. Each year, Ben Lomand Connect sends two qualifying students from their service area to Washington, D.C., to visit the nation’s capital and learn about rural broadband. The students are encouraged to share their community’s story and visit key legislative, regulatory and governmental agencies.
