A man who allegedly chased his ex-girlfriend wielding knives in both hands has been bound to the grand jury on felony assault charges.The defendant, Don Edward Baker, 28, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before General Sessions Judge Larry Ross and was bound to the grand jury on charges of aggravated assault, domestic assault, vandalism, theft and aggravated burglary.According to arrest warrants against Baker taken by sheriff’s deputy Jason Richardson, the incident happened while the father of the victim’s children was visiting her home. The children had just gone to town when the suspect allegedly burst in without warning. “All of a sudden the door flew open and in came Don Baker with a knife in each hand,” Richardson said he learned during his investigation.
