Ford is wheeling out yet another program to give back to the community. The program, called Go Further with Ford Night, will serve as a fundraiser for the McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center. It’s set for this Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Kidd Ford dealership at 5917 Manchester Highway. For each person who attends Go Further with Ford Night, Kidd Ford will make a $10 donation, up to $500, to the Senior Center.“Each person who comes in can test drive a new Fusion or a new Escape and they can also be a judge in a computer version of ‘American Idol,’” said Kidd Ford owner Terry Kidd.A computer with a webcam will be set up at the dealership to allow visitors to view a special message from TV host Ryan Seacrest. Visitors will then be able to test their skills as an “American Idol” judge and their entries will be sent back to Ford headquarters for evaluation.A panel of experts will then judge the volunteer judges and pick one winner to receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Hollywood to get a VIP experience with “American Idol.”For more information, call the dealership at 668-2177.
