Judge Stanley sends five people to jail

Nine people were sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley on charges ranging from theft to moving violations. Included in circuit sentencing:• Christopher T. Bell was instructed to serve 120 days of a four-year sentence and make $1,610 restitution for theft.• Lara Almeda Stevens was directed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay court costs and perform 32 hours public service work for domestic assault.• Elijah Luke Greene was granted a two-year judicial diversion and must perform 24 hours public service work for reckless assault.• Charles Vincent Maranta was granted an 11-29 pre-trial diversion and must perform 16 hours public service work for domestic assault.• Michelle Bouldin-Smith was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $150 plus costs and perform eight hours public service work for theft.• Justin Tyler Duggin was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for underage consumption.• Gary E. Green was directed to serve 75 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $300 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for third-offense driving on a revoked license.• John J. Lillard was directed to serve 90 days of an 11-29 sentence, perform 24 hours public service work and lose his driver license for fourth-offense driving on a suspended license.• James Anthony Smith was directed to serve 10 days of a six-month sentence and pay $50 plus costs for driving on a suspended license.
