Judge Ross hears variety of cases on docket

Sentences were handed down Tuesday by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross on cases ranging from thefts and domestic assaults to violation of probation. Included in court action:• Wendi Tackett was instructed to serve 40 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and must stay out of Walmart for shoplifting and violation of probation.• Sandy Jennings was directed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and must stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.• Randall K. Boehm was bound to the grand jury on charges of theft over $1,000 and burglary.• Steffen M. Brady was bound to the grand jury on charges of burglary and theft.• Danny Ray Martin was ordered to serve 30 days for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.• Tammy Franklin was bound to the grand jury on the charge of aggravated assault.• Rebecca Gibbs was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Hector Guzman was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• David Kalem Lyle was bound to the grand jury on the charge of criminal trespass.• Justin Lynn Smith was bound to the grand jury on the charge of criminal trespass.• Terry King Sr., was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.• Daniel May must serve the balance of his sentence plus five days for violation of probation and failure to appear in court.• Allen T. Tindell must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• Joshua Rackley must serve five days for failure to appear in court.• Mike Bly must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• Peggy Bowdoin must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.• Randy Evans must serve six months and have his probation extended by a year for violation of probation and resisting arrest.• Nena Sprague must serve 45 days and have her probation extended by a year for violation of probation.
