Sentences were handed down by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross in the last criminal session before Christmas. Included in court action:• Bedia Bland was ordered to serve 60 days and pay $360 for domestic assault.• Jacob Blanton was instructed to serve 40 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $2,003 for theft and possession of drugs.• Andrew Bond was ordered to serve nine days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,343 and perform 16 hours public service work for evading arrest and simple possession of drugs.• Jason K. Bouldin was bound to the grand jury on charges of resisting arrest, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, theft and domestic assault. He must serve the balance of his former sentence for violation of probation.• Jeffery B. Womack was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Misty Haston was granted a six-month judicial diversion and must pay $951, undergo drug testing, and perform 16 hours public service work for possession of marijuana.• Coleen Jones was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $256 for shoplifting.• Jessica Judkins was ordered to serve 90 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $631 and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for domestic assault and violation of probation.• Peggy Cope was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must make restitution for passing a worthless check for $27.• Steven L. Arnette must serve the balance of her sentence and pay $261 for public intoxication and violation of probation.• Destin T. Reed must pay $261 for public intoxication.• Carlton Brown must pay $306 and perform 16 hours public service work for underage consumption.• Chad Barrett must serve 30 days for violation of probation.• Jacob C. Blanton must serve 30 days for violation of probation.• Tracey Brackley must serve 30 days for violation of probation.• Regan Muncey must serve 48 hours for violation of probation.• Ronald A. Johnson must serve five days and have his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Sherry Clark must serve 30 days and had her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Christopher Layne must serve 90 days and have his probation extended by a year for violation of probation.
