Charges were dismissed against a man who broke his girlfriend’s arm, the dismissal coming after she testified it happened while they were wrestling on a bed.General Sessions Judge Bill Locke reluctantly dropped the charges against Stoney Race Harmon, 39, after hearing the evidence, noting he did not believe the woman’s story given allegations of past domestic abuse.“I think it happened like the officers said it did,” said Locke, pointing out without her testimony it would be hard to stand behind a conviction on the charge against Harmon. “If you want to testify this way then I don’t have any option but to dismiss the case. But let me tell you, things won’t get any better.
