Judge Locke hears court docket

A 38-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Court. The cases not listed were dismissed or continued to a later date. Included in court action:
• Joshua Gilley was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft over $10,000.
• Ralph Woodlee was bound to the grand jury on charges of simple possession of drugs, initiating the process to manufacture meth and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
• Sarah E. Frank was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $841 and perform 64 hours public service work for passing worthless checks.
• Heaven Richardson must pay $256 and perform nine hours public service work for failure to keep a minor child in school. She must also have her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
• Jeremy Basham must pay $256 and perform 16 hours public service work for criminal trespass.
• Tracy Caswell must pay $256 and perform eight hours public service work for failure to keep a minor in school.
• Geraldo Garcia must pay $321 for public intoxication.
• Felipe Perez was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and pay $312 for second-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Mitchell Burks must serve 48 hours for violation of probation.
• Justin Wyatt was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 50 hours public service work for violation of probation.
