Judge Locke hears court docket

A 38-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Court. The cases not listed were dismissed or continued to a later date. Included in court action:• Joshua Gilley was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft over $10,000.• Ralph Woodlee was bound to the grand jury on charges of simple possession of drugs, initiating the process to manufacture meth and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.• Sarah E. Frank was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $841 and perform 64 hours public service work for passing worthless checks.• Heaven Richardson must pay $256 and perform nine hours public service work for failure to keep a minor child in school.
