The Pioneer Battalion JROTC Raider Team has once again marched to victory at the Ringgold High School JROTC Raider challenge in Northern Georgia.The boys were solid in earning a third-place overall finish against 12 teams, but it was the Lady Pioneers who stole the show. The girls from Warren County High School earned four first-place trophies in one-rope bridge, combat stretcher course, teamwork challenge, and tug of war. WCHS girls also earned second place in the tire flip event and third place in the sled pull/ water can relay.Under the leadership of Brooke Valenta and Alexandria Newby, their efforts contributed to a first-place overall ranking against four female teams.“This is the first event of the year where the girls got to work together as an all-female team,” said JROTC instructor 1st Sgt. Tim Howard.
