Part of an inmate’s ear was ripped off when he was beaten down by three cellmates, all of whom now face assault charges.The victim, Vernon Farless, was treated for injuries he sustained when he found himself on the wrong end of a 3-on-1 attack allegedly staged by three other prisoners inside the local jail.The three are looking at more time being added to their sentences if they are convicted on the assault charges. The accused inmates include Bobby Graves Jr., David James Galaz, and Dalton Blaine Holton.“Mr. Farless says Mr. Galaz got him down on the floor,” sheriff’s investigator Kevin Murphy said in his assault warrants against the three. “He was kicked while on the floor by Mr. Graves and punched in the side of his head by Mr. Holton when he stood up.”Murphy said the victim was taken to the hospital.“A portion of his ear was glued back in place,” Murphy revealed in his warrant.
