Everyone escaped injury when a Chevy Malibu driven by Otis Knowlan, 65, collided with a Nissan Sentra driven by a 17-year-old Rock Island girl as Knowlan was trying to turn left onto Mullican Street from U.S. 70 Bypass on Sunday evening just before 6 p.m. A third car sitting at the red light was also caught up in the crash.
