Hybrid nurses ready for health care careers

A hybrid practical nursing class of 10 students from six counties was among the graduates of the fall trimester at Tennessee College of Applied Technology – McMinnville.The Warren County hybrid practical nursing graduates included Jami Dunlap, Adriann Fann, Henrieeta Stevens and Pamela Tucker. Hybrid nurses received 49 percent of their instruction online, with the majority of their instruction on the TCAT campus or in clinical assignments.Other Warren County fall graduates included Bryan Ferrell and Ivan Verdel, automotive technology; Justin Dodson, Rodney Lang and Christopher Jones, industrial maintenance; Kaleb Hayes, Daniel McPeak and Jason Newby, machine tool technology; and Caleb Minnear, welding.A total of 29 students from 10 counties received diplomas from director Warren Laux. TCAT McMinnville’s service district includes Warren, Cannon, Coffee, DeKalb, Grundy, Sequatchie and White counties.
