Another horse and buggy traffic accident occurred in Warren County Wednesday.

Officers responded to a wreck involving a horse and buggy on the off ramp of Angels Bridge heading to Woodbury at approximately 4 p.m. More details will be available in Friday’s Southern Standard.

Warren County officials have been discussing increasing events involving horse-drawn buggies over the last year. Last April, a local couple was hospitalized in a collision on The Strip.

In February, an 18-year-old Amish teen was rescued on Pettigap Road from four-foot-high floodwaters.

Providing safe travel for horse-drawn buggies locally was discussed in a February meeting of the county’s Highway and Bridge Committee.
