Covenant Academy seventh-grader Chloe Hillis was a Top 10 finalist in the Knoxville News Sentinel Southern Appalachia Regional Spelling Bee held on University of Tennessee’s campus. The spelling bee consisted of 234 spellers, coming from 27 counties and representing the top 1 percent in the region.The word Hillis will never forget is “odygraph.” Most people would think “autograph” when hearing the word.
