Highway Department Building could be named for Glenn

The Warren County Commission will be considering a proposal to name the Highway Department building after Harold Glenn.
Warren County Commissioners will be considering a resolution this month to designate the Highway Department building after former Road Superintendent Harold G. Glenn.During a recent Highway and Bridge Committee meeting, members unanimously voted to recommend the name of the building, located at 1520 Old Smithville Road, be changed to “Harold G. Glenn County Highway Building.”According to the resolution, Glenn served four terms as road superintendent for 16 years from Sept. 1, 1994 through Aug. 31, 2010. During his tenure, he was instrumental in proposing an amendment to Chapter 61 of the Warren County Private Acts of 1959 relative to the office of the Warren County Superintendent of Roads.The proposal resulted in passage of Private Chapter No. 107, House Bill No.
