Heritage Alliance wants to own the building located at 113 E. Main Street. The building now belongs to Main Street McMinnville.Heritage Alliance has issued an agreement of understanding asking the Main Street McMinnville board of directors to consider deeding the building to them.According to Heritage Alliance, the organization spent five years and more than 2,000 hours working on the building, and spent $44,000 in materials and labor to restore the main floor.Heritage Alliance is willing to assume costs for needed repairs, further upgrades, insurance, liability costs, and taxes if MSM will deed over the building.Main Street McMinnville’s lease at the Chamber of Commerce building is in its last three years. Heritage Alliance is will extend an offer to MSM to house the MSM office inside the building located at 113 East Main Street at no rent.
