Heavy rain continues to create difficulties for Warren County with rain expected to linger throughout the day. According to the extended AccuWeather forecast, rain and heavy rain are predicted for McMinnville into Saturday.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for much of Middle Tennessee, including Warren County.

On Oak Hill Drive near McMinnville Civic Center, Public Works employees cleared a large tree that had fallen across the roadway. On Smithville Highway, a car left the road and was on its top.

Warren County Schools closed for the day due to flooding on some roads. The school system has three bad-weather days left.
