No quorum awaited the members who showed up for a Warren County Financial Management meeting to continue discussing the county’s implementation of the so-called 1981 Act.“Well, we don’t have a quorum and cannot make any decisions, but we can have a discussion,” said committee chairman and Warren County Executive John Pelham. The seven-member group had only three members in attendance, that of Pelham and Commissioners Terry Bell and Herschel Wells. Absent were Commissioner Carl Bouldin, Director of Schools Dr. Jerry Hale and Road Superintendent Levie Glenn.A vacant position currently exists on the committee, with the stepping down of Commissioner Gary Prater. By county policy, members of the committee cannot have any member of his or her immediate family employed by Warren County.
