Gibbs gets probation for his run from law

A man who was able to escape from the back of a deputy’s car has escaped jail time as he was placed on probation for a year for his short run from the law.The man, Casey Bryan Gibbs, 24, entered guilty pleas Tuesday morning before Special Judge Larry Ross to charges of escape and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on time served but will be required to perform 24 hours public service work, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment and must pay $150 plus costs. He was placed on probation for a year.
