General Sessions: Arraignment Court

A 29-person docket was heard Tuesday morning by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions arraignment court. Included in the morning session:• Phillip Grissom was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $750 plus costs and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.• Ricky J. Brown was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, attend the battered intervention program and was warned to have no contact with the victim for domestic assault.• Cheri Thomas was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must make restitution, perform 25 hours public service work and was warned to stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.• Timothy Dillon must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court. He must also serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• John S. Haycox must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Jessie R. Robinson must serve 10 days and have probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Crystal Self must serve two days and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment for violation of probation.
