A 10-person docket was heard by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Trial Court. There was no Traffic Court on Thursday due to election. Included in court action:• Adam C. Law was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, perform 25 hours public service work, and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drugs and fourth-offense driving on a suspended license.• Maisha Hayes was bound to the grand jury on charges of aggravated assault.• Charles Driver was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for domestic assault.• Clay Chrestman was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, and was warned to stay away from Spin City Laundry for theft.• Sharon Pitman was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must perform 96 hours public service work and pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs, shoplifting and contributing the delinquency of a minor.• James L. Bailey was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of meth, hydrocodone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.• Shellie Jones was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 48 hours public service work and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drugs.• Robert Atnip Jr., must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
