Franzen enters plea after botched burglary

A pair of botched burglaries will land a man behind bars for six years.The would-be burglar, Jonathan Franzen, 32, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of attempted aggravated burglary, aggravated burglary, grand theft and simple possession of drugs. He will also be on probation for 10 additional years as part of his plea agreement. Franzen will remain held in Warren County Jail at least until the co-defendant in one of his cases, Eric Michael Ridge, goes to trial Feb. 24.
