The Warren County Emergency Food Bank has found a new location at 203 Durham Street and things are looking up for the organization that helps feed the hungry. In conjunction with the move, the Food Bank launched a new campaign called “One Can Make a Difference” in an attempt to recruit individuals from churches to be Food Bank ambassadors. The ambassador role is to communicate the Food Bank’s initiative to their church members and for the church to act as a collection site for its members and others in the community to drop off can food. The effort has generated hundreds of cans of food to help feed the hungry.“Our community has collected close to 3,000 cans,” said Food Bank board member Claudia Simmons.
