A man who stole nearly $10,000 from his former employer will serve a half year behind bars.The man, Audie J. Floyd, 32, entered guilty pleas to multiple counts of passing a forged instrument and one count of theft over $1,000 and was ordered to serve 180 days of a two-year sentence and make $7,735 restitution. He will also be required to perform 240 hours public service work once his jail time is served.His sentence comes for his stealing and forging of 24 checks from his former employer, Rayton Hutchins. The victim did not realize he had been targeted until he was called by his bank.“The victim received a call from Homeland Community Bank that several checks were coming through his account,” said McMinnville police investigator Barry Powers.
