This year, Fire Prevention Week is recognized on Oct. 9-15. The United States Fire Administration ranks Tennessee in the top five states pertaining to fire deaths. Statistics show a fire department will respond to a fire every 23 seconds in the United States.Children oftentimes will have a curiosity about fire, so parents should be aware of the warning signs which may lead to children starting fires.
