A Spencer father faces a quarter century behind bars for killing his own infant daughter.The father, James M. Green, 20, has been indicted on the charge of aggravated child neglect, a crime that carries 15 to 25 years in prison. He was named in a sealed indictment issued recently by the Van Buren County grand jury for the death of his 7-month-old daughter, Brooklyn Green.The allegations are that on Jan. 25 of this year, deputies responded to his Van Buren County home and found his infant daughter unresponsive. An investigation revealed the baby had been sleeping in the same bed with her father and that she had been found not breathing.
