A Little Mr. and Miss Pumpkin Contest will highlight festivities this Saturday as the Farmers Market celebrates its annual Fall Festival.The Little Mr. and Miss Pumpkin Contest is open to children from newborn to 9 years old. There will be separate boys and girls categories in six age divisions with the first contest starting at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $5.“It’s a darling little contest and the best thing is everyone gets a trophy,” said Farmers Market manager Mary Cantrell. “The winners get a bigger trophy than everyone else, but everyone does get a trophy.”If you’re a mean cook, there will be a dessert contest with $25 going to the winner.
