A man who was so drunk he fell down busted his own head while he was keeping three small children has been put on probation for six months. The man, Brents Logan Molloy, 31, was issued a six-month probationary sentence and was released after being credited for 28-days of in-patient rehabilitation. His charge was reduced to attempted child endangerment from the original three counts of child endangerment. His sentence comes after deputies responded to a call at the residence where he was keeping three children, ages two, seven and eight. When officers arrived, Molloy, who had cut his head in an earlier fall, answered the door but claimed everything was fine.“He had a very strong odor of intoxicant about his person and was very unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech,” said Deputy Jason Fowler, noting at that point Molloy admitted to drinking alcohol and taking prescription drugs.Since Molloy was the adult at the residence with three children, his intoxication led to his charges. Deputy Fowler noted Molloy became violent during his ambulance ride to the hospital for treatment of his head injury.
