Eastside Elementary offered a heartfelt Veterans Day assembly Tuesday to honor those who have served and currently serve their country. Every student was involved in the program.“John Quincy Adams, the sixth president of the United States, once said ‘If you actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.’ It is to each of you veterans that your leadership and your courage that we thank you,” said Eastside teacher Jason Gann. In attendance were approximately 50 servicemen and women from all branches of the armed forces.
