Plans are coming together for Downtown by Moonlight in historic downtown McMinnville. The event will be held Feb. 14 from 5-9 p.m.
Downtown by Moonlight is in its fourth year and offered by the Main Street McMinnville organization.
“Come and enjoy a complete night of romance with a memorable carriage ride around Court Square, cultural events at the library and museum, and dinner and entertainment at Main Street Bakery & Cafe,” said Main Street McMinnville executive director Carla King.
Highland Rim Music will be open offering local talent at its new music venue.
“And to top it off, you can purchase a special photo as a memento of the night,” said King. “Or just come out and enjoy one of the many events to add to your unforgettable evening.”
Carriage rides around Court Square will be offered beginning at 6 p.m., thanks to sponsorship from Dr Pepper Bottling Company. WCPI 91.3 will be giving away two free tickets. Listen for the “kiss” to call in for a chance to win.
Moonlight portraits by Krystal’s Pixels will be available at the Chamber of Commerce community room. Offered are $3 snap and go, and $10 portrait packages either by the crescent moon or in the carriage.
Magness Library will be presenting a film about chocolate for all of the chocolate lovers in Warren County, with three times to view. The film starts at 5, 6, and 7 p.m.
Main Street Bakery will be open with entertainment by Kelly Walker and Friends, and Highland Rim Music will be open and offering fine entertainment at its new music venue.
Warren County Heritage Museum will be open and showing the Elvis Presley movie “Love Me Tender” in honor of Valentine’s Day and to commemorate the Civil War.
“Come out and enjoy a romantic stroll in historic downtown McMinnville,” said King. “Don’t forget to shop downtown for that special gift or gift certificates at one of our many flower shops, gift and jewelry stores, salons or health spas.”
