I, David H. Hill, announce my candidacy for alderman in the city of McMinnville.As a life-long resident, it is my desire to help move our city forward into a brighter future. I believe it is important for each board member to work together to seek how to better our city. The people deserve a city board they can trust to do so.I believe it is important for a board member to have the courage to speak when the actions of the board aren’t in the best interests of the peopleI believe the city board has the responsibility to act wisely in the spending of taxpayer money.I believe a full-time mayor is a better alternative than a city administrator.
