City announces theme for annual Christmas parade

Tow-mater from the movie "Cars" was a popular parade entry in 2012 as local residents had fun with the Disney theme.
The city of McMinnville is bringing back the magical feel for its 2014 Christmas Parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2:30 p.m. McMinnville Parks and Recreation program coordinator Kendra Foust announced Wednesday the theme is A Disney Christmas. “We thought everyone had fun in 2012 with Disney and we wanted to bring that back,” Foust said. “They really seemed to enjoy themselves.
