Curfew in McMinnville will remain at its usual 9 p.m. for Halloween night, but police will give some leeway because of the Warren County Pioneer football game that will cut into the curfew hour.“We realize the game won’t be over until 9:30 p.m. or so,” said McMinnville Police Chief Bryan Denton. “Our officers will be using common sense and looking at what is reasonable.”The curfew was enacted on Halloween nearly 20 years ago to cut into mischief which was getting out of hand in neighborhoods around the city. With the curfew came a steep drop in vandalism within the city limits, making the 9 p.m. Halloween curfew a normal fixture.
