A couple who attacked a man from behind and robbed him of over $1,000 has been sentenced to jail for the attack.The perpetrators, Brian Floyd Ballew, 33, and Teri Coppinger, 30, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to the lesser charges of theft. They were both originally charged with robbery, which could have cost them eight years in prison. Instead, Coppinger had her crime reduced to a misdemeanor and was ordered to serve 90 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence.
