County to seek animal control officer

The county’s Health and Welfare Committee will convene Thursday to discuss Warren County Animal Control. This is the first meeting since the firing of an animal control officer amid a spray of controversy.“I don’t think there will be any decisions made,” said Commissioner Sally Brock regarding the possibility of hiring a new officer. “We will discuss what’s going on and how many animals have been adopted out.”David Hennessee was fired by the Health and Welfare Committee on Jan. 10 with a 3-2 vote.
