Warren County officials are looking to open the lines of communication with city officials regarding metropolitan government. The measure would mean ending dual governments and instituting one.“Unless someone can give me a good reason not to do this, I think we should pursue it,” said Economic and Agricultural Development Committee chairman Les Trotman of considering metro government. When Commissioner George Smartt questioned if he was entertaining a motion by the statement, Trotman added, “Give me a motion and I will entertain it.”Smartt made a motion to approach city officials with the idea of setting up metro government.
