Members of the county’s Building and Grounds Committee voted to renew the lease of the Tennessee State Environmental Conservation Groundwater office for the upcoming year. The previous lease on the office, located at Warren County Administrative Offices, was a three-year lease. County Executive John Pelham told committee members he received the lease from the state which had contacted him previously and said it was thinking about consolidating wastewater offices throughout Tennessee.“At that time, we had just recently lost our Career Center and I expressed to them that we didn’t want to lose this office,” said Pelham referring to the employment office that was located on Lyon Street.
