County officials prepare for busy meeting week

This week will bring a frenzy of activity for many members of the Warren County Commission, with six out of 10 committees scheduled to meet.The action kicks off Monday with an Education Committee meeting at 5 p.m. Committee members will receive an update on school construction projects. The Education Committee consists of chairperson Diane Starkey, Terry Bell, Morris Bond, Scott Rubley, and Carlene Brown.On Monday at 6:30 p.m., the Safety Committee, headed by chairman Teddy Boyd, will receive an update on EMS from director Brian Jennings. Other members are Carl D. Bouldin, Randy England, Ron Lee, and Charles Morgan.Tuesday will be a busy day, with three committee meetings scheduled.First is a 4 p.m. meeting of the Economic and Agricultural Development Committee, which will be discussing appointments to the Airport Board of Zoning Appeals and the Industrial Development Board.
