Warren County commissioners have received a request to allow a historical plaque for a local author to be placed in front of the administrative offices on Locust Street. What would be the first of its kind brought concerns about future requests.County Building and Grounds Committee members Carl Bouldin, chairman, Carolyn Miller, David Rhea, Kenny Roberts and Michael Shane Wilcher considered a request from Bonnie Davis to allow a plaque to be placed in honor of D.J. Snow.Bouldin says the request was made to County Executive Herschel Wells and sent to committee for consideration.“Bonnie Davis came by the office and talked to Herschel and he gave it to me,” Bouldin said. “There was a lady by the name of D.J. Snow back in the early 1900s from Warren County.
